Breaking Bad News with Baby Animals

Awful? Yes but it's also awfully funny(Okay if slapstick didn't get a smile and neither did the inappropriate e-cards... please consult this vignette: 5 Secrets to Life)

That's depressing.

ok a couple questions:

a) slapstick? did i miss something? where's the slapstick in this?

2) about the 5 secrets video:

what was the sample size for this? is it statistically significant?

it appears this is based solely on qualitative research. maybe interviews or a focus group or two. as much great insight as this might provide, it doesn't really prove anything. we need quantitative data to back this up! how do we know the 5 secrets hold true for everyone? hell, it coulda just been 5 senile guys makin shit up.

you need to put together a national, random sample to test this. put questions together based on the insights that were revealed. maybe a likert-scale here or there. this will help to find out if these is a theme that is shared by many, or if it really was just 5 old senile guys in a nursing home just makin shit up to get through an interview so they could get back to missing bob barker on the price is right.

and did i really just get hit up for money at the end of it? is this guy serious? half of this on his flash video wasn't even punctuated correctly - i can't imagine what his book would be like!

a) You went from "a" to the number 2
b) You sound like an account guy... I'm worried.
b-1) Quantitative data means squat.
b-2) Data is a fancy way to muddle up useful insight.
c) You made it to the end? Kudos.

P.S. By slapstick I meant a "low form of comedy."
