Can you WOW members use some photos in your posts? I'm losing it here with all this text on an awful background (seriously... has anyone noticed that there is way too much Sean?).
On to work. Life is really cushy doing this sweet archive project. Basically we are in the basement of Ogilvy basements, cleaning out all the old excess campaign materials. Since Ogilvy has been around a small while, this is no small project BUT my co-workers and I are such awesome kids that we are banging this job out. In fact, we are doing such a good job that they send us home at 3:30 and I get Friday's off (Did I mention I still get paid salary?). Of course this dream will end but it is already priming me with some wonderful wisdom from Chuck, the Minster of the People. Chuck is our direct supervisor and a 38 year Ogilvy Veteran (he even knew Ogilvy (oooh ahhh)). In grandpa like fashion he spews wisdom (advertising and non-advertising).
For example, anybody remember the Rat Pack?
Most everybody recognizes Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sintra but whose this other guy? He's John F. Kennedy's brother-in-law, Peter Lawford. He's responsible for introducing Sinatra to JFK. It was because of Sinatra that Kennedy won Chicago during his election year (which was crucial win). So now JFK and Sinatra become buds and Sinatra is FLOORED by this- so excited that he builds an ENTIRE wing for JFK to come stay at his house. However as Sinatra's mob ties become more apparent to the world JFK decides to stay elsewhere on his visit to CA. What does this do? Completely pisses off Sinatra and he decides that he hates every member of the Kennedy family.
Makes you think, did Sinatra shoot JFK... At any rate, I just wanted to give you a taste of the wonderful stories I hear on a daily basis. And for good measure. The Professor Brothers, JFK. A must watch.
-Corwin.

How difficult must life had been for Sammy Davis Jr. being a black man and not being able to eat pork
